About the Solstice Festival

The Solstice Festival in Manitowish Waters, WI is for friends and families to enjoy our area’s bike trails and the beauty that surrounds us as well as the promotion of a healthy, active lifestyle.

FRIDAY from 5pm - 7pm: Check-in and have some fun with family, friends and other riders at Manny's Parkside located in Manitowish Waters next to Koller Park. Following the welcome party, take an evening ride on the Heart of Vilas County paved trails or just relax in their amazing backyard patio.

SATURDAY starting at 10am: The festival really gets into gear on Saturday with both fun rides and road rides. NEW THIS YEAR: All rides will start and finish at Koller Park!

Road rides include the 15ish-mile Buswell Loop Ride as well as the 29ish-mile Cranberry Ride and 50ish-mile Half Century Ride, both of which feature a Bloody Mary bar along the route.

The Family Fun Ride is truly designed for the whole family and sticks to the paved Heart of Vilas County trail system. Optional activities at the Discovery Center, Camp Jorn YMCA and North Lakeland School help break up the ride and add some fun to the ride.

All rides end at Koller Park for a post ride food, live music, adult beverages and activities.

SUNDAY starting at 10am: Then on Sunday head to WinMan Trails just 4 miles down the road for some fun on their amazing network of mountain bike trails. They will be hosting a FREE mountain bike demo day thanks to the help of River's Edge Outfitters from 10am - 12pm and Tip-Ups Takeaways food truck will be on site in the morning serving up their delicious menu.
